CHAMPAGNE HUGUES GODME
Brut Blanc de Noirs

Blend: Reserved wines from previous years and half of the total blend was vinified in barrels. 

It’s sappy and concentrated, with ample flavors of cherry and berry that are accented by hints of brown spice, dark honey and citrus oils, and it feels expressive of the northeastern Montagne de Reims in its sleek shape and dark, floral fruit aromas. At the same time, this seems to be showing less finesse than previous disgorgements tasted a year ago, thriving more on its fruit flavors: it would certainly benefit from additional post-disgorgement age, and it should gain more complexity and mineral expression as the fruit matures and integrates further into the whole.

Brut Reserve

Blend: Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir. 

This champagne is creamy and butterscotch-like under the fruit flavors of berry and citrus, and its bright acidity keeps it feeling lively and brisk, allowing the aromas to persist on the finish with fine length. While it’s a little rustic overall, it makes up in personality what it lacks in finesse, and it’s delicious to drink.

Blend: Pure Villers-Marmery, with a proportion of a blend vinified in barrel. 

It’s round and generous, with notes of melon, nectarine and exotic citrus, yet while it seems to thrive on its ample fruit flavors, it’s underlined by insistent notes of chalk, finishing with a complicated, soil- inflected salinity. It’s highly expressive of Montagne terroir, and delicious to drink as well.

The color and aromas are relatively delicate. Its notes of raspberry and strawberry are elegant and discreet, underlined by brisk acidity, and it finishes with harmonious balance and fragrant length.

This characterful champagne is made from wines selected for their finesse and moderate acidity and has had no sugar after disgorging.  To be enjoyed as an aperitif or it also enhances fish in sauce, simply grilled fish, and sets off the taste of white meat.

Golden yellow dress, abundant and fine bubbles forming a persistent cord, strong fruity aromas give seduction to this champagne. This champagne is perfect as an aperitif and will also accompany white meat, fish, seafood dishes.

Delicate pink color with salmon reflections. Fine bubbles forming a persistent cord. Dashing nose of red fruits and strawberry syrup, delicate aromas of melon enhanced with hints of vanilla and cinnamon. Rounded mouth of berries, strawberry, raspberry with delicate notes of fresh lime. Proposed as an apperitf during a summer evening, this rosé will perfectly be paired with desserts containing red fruits. It will also make a surprising companion for game and pigeon dishes.
